Our recent "Correct the Record" contest asked readers to help us choose authors whose previously spotlighted stories weren't the best showcase of their writing strengths. Today, we're offering a double feature with two of our three contest winners!

At one point, I was hoping to get at least one set of recommended story reviews done per month, meaning it would only take me, oh, a couple years to finish reviewing all the stories I would recommend or highly recommend but read before I started writing reviews.

It has been a bit slower than that. Still, I do hope you folks enjoy these.

HoofBitingActionOverload is going to be unpublishing all of his stories from FIMFiction in one week. As one of the best authors on the site, that's a pretty sad thing. You all should go read his stuff before he does it, because he's a really good writer.
